It’s September and fall is creeping around the corner. The leaves are slowly beginning to fall from the trees and the smell of crisp foliage fills the air. The garden is full of ready to harvest abundance, from butternut squash to pumpkins and green beans. The air is much cooler and the wind dances through the swaying trees. It’s almost time to bring back the cozy socks and oversized sweaters, and our favorite books are calling to us from the shelf.
Fall is truly my favorite time of year!
Something else significant about this time of year is that in Ayurveda, it is considered to be Vata Season. It’s a time for cleansing, deep self-care, and overall nourishment. I’ve put together a 6 week series in honor of this special time. We will cover everything from what to expect during Vata season, fall cleanse tips, a delicious kitchari recipe and much more!
